Allen-Bradley’s 1785-CHBM ControlNet PLC-5 Hot backup box module is a backup module installed on a PIC-5 processor that allows ControlNet-enabled PLC-5 controllers to operate in backup mode. The 1785-CHBM has a non-volatile user memory capacity of 100K words, and its memory can be given write protection by removing the jumper on the module. The module is fully compatible with 1785-L20C15, -L40C15 or -L80C5 processors and is CISPR 11 compliant: Group 1, Class A (with appropriate housing) Radiation specification 1785-CHBM IEC rated operating temperature range 0-600°C32-140f), relative humidity 5-95%, non-condensing, rated storage temperature range -40-85 “C(-40-185f). It has been tested to withstand level 2 operating vibration from 10-500Hz and 30G operating shock without lowering the rating, and it can withstand 50G non-operating shock. It weighs 7.88g and is UL, CE, C-TICK and CSA certified.
