The 2097-V33PR5 is a single-axis servo drive that is part of the Kinetix 300 Ethernet I/P indexing servo drives. Being part of the Kinetix 300 drives, it contributes to overall cost-effectiveness as it may be installed in applications with lesser control axis. With the built-in Ethernet I/P interface, it supports modern connectivity to existing Ethernet I/P networks, enabling simplified integration.

For installation, the minimum installation clearance required by the 2097-V34PR5 are 3mm or 0.12 inches side clearances and 25 mm or 1.0 inches top and bottom clearance for airflow and installation. An extra 150 mm (6.0 in.) clearance must be added when the drive is installed next to noise sensitive device or equipment. Additional clearances are also required, depending on the accessories installed with the drive.

This makes it ideal for building indexing tables, intermittent horizontal and vertical form/fill/seal machines, simple sleevers, case packers and erectors, feed and withdrawal equipment, tool changing machinery, and automatic assembly equipment. To increase productivity and safety, this Kinetix 300 servo drive comes with integrated safe torque-off functionality. This allows the safe and successful completion of troubleshooting and maintenance tasks without cutting off power from the entire machine. When the circuit is tripped, drive output can be disabled without danger. This results in shorter machine downtime and faster restart.
