BRW-2 桥楼两翼指示器
BRW-2 is a bridge wing indicator used on either side of a ship or offshore structure bridge (i.e. bridge or command room), usually used to indicate or warn of a specific state or condition on both wings of a bridge (i.e. both sides of a ship bridge). These indicators can display a variety of information, including but not limited to:
Safety warning: Indicates whether the wings of the bridge are safe and whether there is human activity or obstacles to ensure that the master or operator can avoid collisions or dangerous situations while maneuvering the ship.
Monitoring status: Displays the real-time status of surveillance cameras or sensors on both wings to help the captain understand the situation outside the bridge in real time.
Equipment status: Displays the working status of related equipment (such as lighting equipment, navigation lights, communication equipment, etc.) on the two wings of the bridge to ensure that these equipment can operate normally when needed.
Environmental information: Provides environmental information such as weather conditions, sea conditions, water temperature, etc., to help the captain make the right navigational decisions.
The design and functionality of the BRW-2 will vary depending on the type of vessel, its purpose, and the area in which it operates.
