The IS215VPROH1B is used as an emergency turbine protection module. The IS215VPROH1B provides protection for speed difference detection and backup synchronization check. The board accepts thermocouple and analog inputs. The module has two circuit boards stacked on top of each other. The top plate is an IS200VPRW plate, which is attached to the lower plate by four screws threaded to the support. The board consists of an integrated circuit, a transformer, multiple transistors, as well as resistors, capacitors, and diodes. Capacitors include capacitors made of polyester vinyl. Resistors are sometimes made of carbon composite materials. The board has multiple inductors and many connectors, including plugs. There is a radiator on the right front.
