4-channel AI (12-bit, 5 MS/s/ch), 2-channel AO, 8-channel DIO, PCI Multi-function I/O device – PCI‑6110 is a synchronous sampling multi-function DAQ device. It provides analog I/O, digital I/O, two 24-bit counters, and digital triggers. PCI‑6110 is ideal for a variety of applications, such as excitation/response applications that require synchronous analog input (AI), analog output (AO), and digital I/O. It is also ideal for 42 V automotive applications, radar, sonar and ultrasound. The included NI‑DAQmx driver and configuration utility simplify configuration and measurement.
Based on the dimensions of PCI-6110, the required chassis slot must be able to accommodate the entire length of the PCI module.

The NI PCI-6110 / 6110E features a dedicated analog-to-digital converter (ADC) per channel for maximum device throughput and higher multi-channel accuracy. With 5 MS/s per channel sampling rates, eight input ranges from ±0.2 to ±42 V, and higher multi-channel accuracy. With 5 ms /s per channel sampling rates, eight input ranges from ±0.2 to ±42 V, two 16-bit analog outputs, two 24-bit counter/timers and eight general-purpose digital I/O lines, the NI PCI-6110 can be used in a variety of applications. Some examples include: 42 V automotive applications, Transient and ballistics measurements, Radar, sonar, ultrasound, High-energy physics, IF digitization.

Is there a difference between the NI-6110 and the PCI-6110E?
NI Response: The NI-6110 is the exact same board as the PCI-6110E. The board was originally named the PCI-6110E, but as our MIO line expanded, we realized that this board did not fit so well in the E-series group and was better suited for the MIO group. The “E” was therefore dropped from the name of the DAQ board. From a functionality standpoint, the board has remained the same.
