运动控制器是自动化的一个分支,PMAC2-CPU使用伺服机构来控制机器的位置或速度。运动控制在机器人和数控机床领域内的应用要比在专用机器中的应用更复杂,因为后者运动形式更简单,通常被称为通用运动控制(GMC)。运动控制被广泛应用在包装、印刷、纺织和装配工业中。
目前市面上通用的运动控制器主要分为三类:
– PLC:梯形图编程便利,逻辑控制功能强大,兼具多轴顺序启停、主从跟随和多轴同步等功能,适用于张力、卷绕、转矩控制等应用场景。
– PC BASED 运动控制卡:有独立 CPU 执行运动控制程序,IPC 和板卡相互独立,利用 PCI-E 接口进行通信和高级语言编程等优势,适用于高精度运动控制等应用场景。
– 运动控制器:PMAC2-CPU算法和运动控制卡几乎一样,但其可以直接写程序并下载,这样就可以脱机运行,更适用于特定行业,具有行业专属的用户场景。
运动控制器是控制电动机的运行方式的专用控制器。例如,PMAC2-CPU电动机在由行程开关控制交流接触器而实现电动机拖动物体向上运行达到指定位置后又向下运行,或者用时间继电器控制电动机正反转或转一会停一会再转一会再停。
运动控制器是决定自动控制系统性能的主要器件。对于三菱系列,运动CPU就是运动控制器。

The motion controller is a branch of automation where the PMAC2-CPU uses a servomechanism to control the position or speed of the machine. The application of motion control in the field of robotics and CNC machine tools is more complex than the application in specialized machines, because the latter has a simpler form of motion and is often referred to as general motion control (GMC). Motion control is widely used in packaging, printing, textile and assembly industries.
At present, the general motion controllers on the market are mainly divided into three categories:
– PLC: ladder diagram programming is convenient, logic control function is powerful, both multi-axis sequential start and stop, master and slave follow and multi-axis synchronization functions, suitable for tension, winding, torque control and other application scenarios.
– PC-based motion control card: It has independent CPU to execute motion control program, IPC and board are independent of each other, and uses PCI-E interface for communication and high-level language programming. It is suitable for high-precision motion control and other application scenarios.
Motion controller: The PMAC2-CPU algorithm is almost the same as the motion control card, but it can be directly written and downloaded, so that it can be run offline, more suitable for specific industries, with industry-specific user scenarios.
The motion controller is a special controller that controls the operation mode of the motor. For example, the PMAC2-CPU motor is controlled by the AC contactor by the stroke switch to achieve the motor to drive the object up to the specified position and then run down, or the time relay is used to control the motor to turn positive and negative or turn for a while to stop and then turn for a while to stop.
Motion controller is the main device that determines the performance of automatic control system. For the Mitsubishi series, the motion CPU is the motion controller.
