The REX521BBHGLB01C in ABB’s REX521 family is a high-performance, highly reliable feeder and motor protection relay. This product combines protection, measurement, wave recording, monitoring and control functions for neutral ungrounded systems, neutral direct grounding systems, small resistance grounding systems and resonant grounding systems of medium voltage feeders and large and medium-sized three-phase AC motor protection.

Specifically, the protection functions of REX521BBHGLB01C include phase-to-phase overcurrent, grounding, overvoltage, low voltage, various motor protection and frequency protection elements. In addition, it also has current, voltage, frequency, active and reactive power, power factor, electrical energy and other measurement functions, as well as circuit breaker contact electrical wear monitoring, tripping circuit monitoring and other functions.

The REX521BBHGLB01C integrates a fault recording module with five analog input channels and up to sixteen switching channels to record the fault status completely in COMTRADE format.
